MOSCOW, Nov 19 (PRIME) -- Russian Railways has prolonged its 50% discount, which is to expire at the end of 2018, for transportation of oil products from Belarus to the ports in the northwestern part of Russia until the end of 2025, the company said in a statement on Monday.
The company will prolong into 2019 a 6% discount for transportation of gas condensate from the Limbei station of the Sverdlovsk Railway to the Luzhskaya and Buslovskaya stations of the October Railway and the Kombinatskaya station of the West Siberian Railway, as well as for return trips of empty rail cars, if a cargo sender guarantees traffic of at least 9 million tonnes of gas condensate in 2019 and 9.5 million tonnes a year in 2020–2021.
Russian Railways also prolonged several other discounts until the end of 2019, including a 10.7% discount for transportation of copper ore in gondola rail cars from the Rezh station to the Verkhnyaya and Yezhevaya stations of the Sverdlovsk Railway, and a 12.8% discount to for the delivery of copper and zinc ore from the Ivdel 1 station to the Verkhnyaya station of the same railway.
Other discounts include a 12.8% discount for copper concentrate traffic from the Tamerlan to Pirit stations of the South Urals Railway, a 21.9% discount for crude oil traffic from the Uyar station of the Krasnoyarsk Railway to the Kochenevo station of the West Siberian Railway, a 20.1% reduction of price for transportation of oil from the Skovorodino station to the Vanino station, and a 26.4% discount for delivery of ferrous metals scrap to Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
